Note: The Key to driving to Sacred Heart Church, from any direction, is to get on Interstate Route 84.
FROM THE WEST (THE NEW YORK CITY, WESTCHESTER AREA)Follow Interstate Route 684 North to the end - exit 9. Take exit 9, Interstate Route 84 Eastbound, in the direction of Danbury, CT. At the Connecticut border, the Interstate 84 exit numbers reset to 1...2...3, etc. Proceed to Exit 14. This takes about a half hour from the intersection of routes 684 and 84. FROM THE WEST (DANBURY AREA)Get onto Interstate Route 84 Eastbound in the direction of Waterbury and proceed to Exit 14 (Eastbound). See below for directions from Exit 14 (Eastbound). FROM I-84 EXIT 14 - (EASTBOUND)Proceed down the exit ramp. Look left, and you will see Sacred Heart Church on the other side of Route 84. At the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, make a left onto Route 172. Proceed on Route 172 under the Route 84 bridge to the traffic light. Go straight on Route 172, through the light. The entrance to the Sacred Heart Church parking lot is the first right hand turn after the light. FROM THE EAST (HARTFORD, WATERBURY AREA)Get onto Interstate Route 84 in the direction of Danbury and proceed to Exit 14 (Westbound). See below for directions from Exit 14 (Westbound). FROM I-84 EXIT 14 - (WESTBOUND)Proceed down the exit ramp. Look right, and you will see Sacred Heart Church. At the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, make a right onto Route 172. Proceed to the traffic light. Stay straight on Route 172, through the light. The entrance to the Sacred Heart Church parking lot is the first right hand turn after the light.
