Cross Bearers

Young men and women, grades 5 through 12, are invited to serve in the ministry of Cross Bearer. Those who participate in this ministry carry the crucifix at the head of the liturgical procession and recession at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days, and for special liturgies. They must dress appropriately for Mass, be willing to serve according to a published schedule, and fulfill their assignments. Training for Cross Bearers is held at various times during the year at Sacred Heart.
