Website Committee

The Website Committee is dedicated to proclaiming the Kingdom of God through the vehicle of the parish website, www.sacredheartchurch.info. The committee continually updates the site and adds new features based on information gathered from the various ministries, events at the parish, and contributions from fellow parishioners.

The Website Committee is constantly looking for new and better ways to better serve the parish community. Projects come about as a response to requests from parishioners or as ideas from committee members. In the future we hope to continue to add features to help build a sense of community among parishioners.

While much has already been accomplished to get the parish website to the point that it is at today, there is always additional work that needs to be done to update and improve the site. The tasks that each committee member takes on depend on his/her God-given talents, interests, skill set, and availability.

Those members that are technically inclined and familiar with HTML and JavaScript are generally responsible for making the actual updates to the site and insuring that everything looks professional.

Some members who are graphically gifted help to add some spice to the site.

Members who are interested in photography and have the necessary equipment obtain photos of parish functions and events that can be placed on the site.

Still others handle tasks such as making phone calls or doing research, and participate on new projects by obtaining or generating information that might be useful to the parish community.

Regular meetings of the Website Committee are held year round on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 P.M. All members of the parish are welcome to attend!
