Parish Picnic 2002
This year's parish picnic was held on Saturday September 21 at Ballantine Park in Southbury. Here are some photos
from the event:

Many of the attendees shared some time under the Ballantine Pavillion.

Lots of room under there to escape the sun...

The Knights of Columbus not only helped with setup and breakdown for the event, but manned the grill as well.

No shortage of food here... ;-)

There were many activities set up for the kids - including a nail polish station, face painting, balloon toss, bounce house, and even pony rides!

Lots of fun at the face painting station... While the kids had their fun, the adults played some bingo under the big tent to the right of the picture.

The bounce house was a big attraction (both literally and figuratively).

Many simply enjoyed relaxing in the shade with some fellow parishoners.

Gino Albertario did a great job entertaining the crowd with a few songs. Vin Berluti once again handled the sound system at the picnic and acted as DJ.

Everyone enjoyed the big raffle.

After the raffle, everyone headed down to the field for mass.

Fr. Flynn and Deacon Cassidy prepare for mass.
