Lunch with Santa
12/4/2004

On December 4th, Santa came to Sacred Heart Church to pay a visit!

Marge Griffin started the event by reading an excellent children's book about Christmas and the roles of Jesus and Santa in it.
After the story was done, Santa's elves went to work to make and serve the hotdogs and peanut butter sandwiches!
Of course, some elves were in disguise...
Then it was time to eat!
The hall was packed with excited children and their parents.
After lunch, Santa arrived with lots of elves.
All the kids were excited...
Then Santa sat down and started calling up all the good boys and girls to sit on his lap for a present.
After each and every boy and girl received their present, Marge closed things out with a prayer.
Of course, then the elves cleaned everything up and went back into their disguises - at least until Christmas!
