Habitat For Humanity Pancake Breakfast

The Waterbury Affiliate of Habitat For Humanity held a fund raising breakfast at Sacred Heart Church on Sunday, February 5, 2012. Breakfast was scheduled after the 9:00 and 11:00 Masses on that day. The Knights of Columbus provided the cooks in the kitchen, and many other people volunteered to help this worthy cause. Over 200 people were served a tasty breakfast of pancakes, sausage, home fries, juice, coffee, or tea.
Early on, the Knights start cooking the pancakes.
Right after Mass, the ticket sales are ready in case you were not able to buy them earlier.
Once in the hall, the tickets are collected. And we are ready to eat.
A steady line forms. First the juice, then the coffee.
Last comes the hot food.
And then, an opportunity to relax and enjoy a good breakfast with friends old and new.
Our pastor, Fr. Joe, was on hand to welcome everyone.
